Florida tight end Colin Thompson, an Archbishop Wood graduate, will have surgery to insert a screw in his right foot, an injury that could sideline him at least two months. The 6-foot-4 freshman from Warminster had been expected to play a key role for the 23d-ranked Gators this season.
